A new twist on ‘The Man’

Last night I was sitting in my scrapbook/computer room trying to come up with an idea using the stamp set “The Man.”  I even asked my husband, but he was of no help…who would have thought…lol! Our anniversary is coming up exactly 2 months from today, so I thought….how can I combine this stamp set and love, the masculine and the feminine? Here is what I came up with:

I used the stamp sets ‘The Man’ and ‘Delightful Little Things.’ The base is just a plain piece of black cardstock, but I needed a little something more feminine than the quote. I chose to use aluminum foil because it’s shiny (feminine) and when I cut it the edges were a little uneven (masculine). The next layer is….you guessed it…SANDPAPER. What can be any more masculine than that! The quote is raised with foam dots so I could get some dimension, and I thought the brads along the side would also help echo the ‘stud’ stamp!

I hope you have enjoyed today’s project…I know I have! You can purchase these sets through me, so shoot me an email at memace8387@gmail.com if you are interested. When you order, there will be a few extra goodies inside! ‘Delightful Little Things’ is $24.00 and ‘The Man’ is just $6.00! Have a GREAT rest of the day!
