I’m So Very Slow…But I Do have a Few Things Done!

Hello, All!! If anyone is reading this! It seems as though it’s been a very long time since I’ve been able to get something made and posted on here! My life has been taken over by lesson plans! Argh!

Since the last time I posted, I’ve had a few things happen to me that are worth mentioning! #1 I’ve gotten my first two paychecks as a teacher! Woo-Hoo!! #2 I got a used 2002 Acura TLS (love it!)  #3 I’ve made it through one evaluation. 5 more to go. #4 My husband and I went to the Biltmore and drove the Blue Ridge Parkway for my fall break. #5 During our drive on the Parkway, the transmission went out of my 2002 Acura TLS. No help from Acura at all on the cost ($4,900). Not to do any brand bashing, but I know where my next car isn’t coming from 😦

In a nutshell, that’s what has happened with me the past little bit. Anything interesting going on for you?

Here is one of the few projects that I did get finished in my spare time (what spare time? lol) :

Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I decided to make a little badge…a Believe Badge!

I used a scalloped circle from brown cardstock for the backing and a slightly smaller circle from white cardstock for the inner area.

Here’s a side view. The {ippity} kit I used is called ‘ALL Things are POSSIBLE.’  I colored in the stamps with Copic markers and coloring pencils.

This kit costs $6.00. That’s an incredible price for this many images!

I’ll be linking up! Check out my link parties page. I love all of these sites…so much inspiration!

I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday evening, and hopefully I’ll be back soon!
